a bookseller's heart (2)

Conrad will be a must, probably several of them. like Verne, may be the adventures of captain hatteras. or other. Kipling's Kim. or Captain Courageous. the cruel sea and so many others from here, amazing bibliographic work. Salgari. the Maqroll adventures. the Sargasso Sea Stories. Melville's Billy Budd. Stevenson. South Sea Tales, Tales of the Pacific, London. and yes, The War of the Worlds. (and on-going).

Keraban, o Cabeçudo, Júlio Verne

parte 1 e parte 2.

here.

A person who rarely left his room, Verne was writing about places he had never been: Latin America, Arab countries, the Black Sea... He fictionalized the future and created breathtaking adventures for his characters." -- a palavra conjure muito a propósito.
