depois de ter depositado um balde de guloseimas nos sacos de um enorme bando de bruxas  e vampiros, seguido de outros bandos menores, fiquei sem provisões para o pão por deus. um deles tinha um mini-caixão; levou uma mão-cheia mais. outro grupo era comunitário, um saco grande para dividir no fim. um, dois, três adultos acompanham a miudagem. troquei impressões sobre abóboras. há uns anos atrás, a minha filha recolhia os treats mais variados, chegou a trazer sacos de arroz e embalagens de esparguete. 

nota: nos condomínios há bruxas. na aldeia, pão por deus. roughly speaking.

These were days when my heart was volcanic. Poe e Tim Burton quase têm de ser neste dia. Salem com os eventos a laranja e morcegos. e não, não é daqui, na minha terra não há pevides tostadas (oven roast, pan dried), tiradas à mão de abóboras esburacadas. com sal? aqui há uma desculpa de bruxas e diabos nocturnos, e mesmo quem corra com as crianças a crucifixo, danados. um esforço de montras, pouco de janelas. o que me arrepia mais é a cansadíssima defesa amarrada em acusação, desvirtuas, copias, modelas, comercias. e depois espera-se uma justificação medrosa e arrependida, como se em terra de rosa o amarelo estivesse irremediavelmente esconjurado. Happy Halloween.

duvidando 'olimpicamente'

do resultado disto, aqui se experimentam baked potatoes. e é verdade, quem conseguiu entornar um latte inteirinho no novíssimo Starbucks Alfragide fui mesmo eu, com direito a escorrer leite pelo vidro e tudo. daí o 'olimpicamente'. cinco chapéus de bruxa, outras tantas cabeleiras, duas pretas, duas abóboras e as mais variadas caveiras. conjuntos de pinta-caras. um fantasma a pilhas. folhas de outono e quatro capas de vampiro. um capuchinho vermelho, teias com aranhas e um esqueleto completo. e poucas coisas deram tanto gozo como as batatas assadas depois de um latte entornado.

Vampire Makeup Basics

Paleness - some people do white base makeup to get that "no sunlight" look, but I find that using a white face powder is often easier to apply and less messy to remove. Use a powder puff or brush to dust the powder across your cleanly washed face. For non-Caucasian vampires, a face powder that is in the same color family as your skin but lighter is a good option.

Eyes - lining the eyes with a black eyeliner increases the focus and it can also be used to darken the eyebrows a bit. The lining can be subtle or heavy, as you wish. Those with a very generous budget might want to try special "vampire eyes" contact lenses.

Cheeks - most often no emphasis is put on the cheeks which keeps the focus on the eyes and mouth. For a more sinister look, using a dark grey eyeshadow, you can shade under the cheekbones and along the temples to make the face appear more gaunt.

Lips - vampires can have very pale lips (just dust over with the powder) or they can be dramatic with lipstick. Favorites seem to be either blood red or glossy black.

Fake blood - if you want to have some fake blood on your lips or dripping down your chin slightly, it's really easy to make some by mixing up a few tablespoons of corn syrup with a few drops of red food coloring. Add a single drop of blue to the mix to get the red to be less orange and more like real blood. This is cheaper than purchasing fake blood and is non-toxic and ok-tasting to have in your mouth. Watch out for dripping it on white clothes as the food coloring can stain.
