how to grow quince from seed

"Bear in mind that if your quince fruit is from a hybrid plant, the seed will germinate into a plant that probably will not bear much resemblance to the parent plant and the fruit will not be like the one you have now.

It is fun though, to try this. Plant the seed about an inch deep in a medium sized pot with a good potting soil that is moist but not soggy. Place the pot inside a large plastic baggie and seal it. Place the pot in the fridge for 90 days. AFter 90 days, remove the pot to a warm room. Germination should take place in a month or two sometimes longer. Sometimes, it will require two cold periods to break the dormancy of the seed. Another method is to place the pot outdoors over the winter provide you have a winter of extend periods where the temperature falls below 40 degrees. Germination will occur in the spring. You'll have to keep the pot watered during the winter too."
que tirei daqui. e outra ideia para os tais quince.
