These items have no place in a classroom. They often create unwelcome distractions in class or become the root of problems at recess times. Accidents also happen, and children become very distressed when expensive goods are lost or broken. We ask for parental cooperation in ensuring that students do not bring these items to school. In the event of their loss or damage we do not accept any responsibility for them."
