This word-building game is entirely in Portuguese! It will help students string letters together to build three-or-more letter words in a fun, timed game. Students can play “Treino” or live (with internet connection) to see their score in comparison to other anonymous players. (No interaction with online players aside from seeing scores posted.)
Words with Friends (Free)
In this game, students use a crossword-like board to create words and earn points. This is a two-player game that can be played over the internet with a friend, or live by passing the iPod back and forth.
BrainPOP Featured Movie (Free)
BrainPop movies teach kids different each day in a variety of subjects, and include quizzes. This is a light version of the BrainPOP website available through the school.
