Salt Beyoğlu Discussion

What's next? With this question on everyone's lips, we caught wind of a timely discussion with a different perspective on Istanbul. We heard on the grapevine about a presentation at Salt Beyoğlu to talk about the development of our city. It will be hosted by Orhan Esen, a writer, researcher, historian, and publisher (and also a native Istanbulite!). He'll be talking about the history of Taksim's development, from 19th century planning to modern urban living, from the metropolis to the mall. Although we're always intrigued by other viewpoints of our city, this is a particularly good time to get a fresh perspective. We'll be heading down to Salt Beyoğlu this evening. See you there!
P.S. The event is at Salt Beyoğlu's Movie Theater and will run from 5pm to 8pm.
