For many days I see your photos from Turkey. Today (intrigued by the dog and the old man) this is my thought: how much alike are our countries, greece, turkey, portugal, mediterenean. If one does not see the significant differences in architecture, all the other everyday details, the food, the tables by the sea, the weather-worn faces, the deep blue, the sun, even the dogs sleeping(!) are as if from the same area. I have not been to Marseilles but I adore Jean Claude Izzo's books. Also a familiar cuisine and way of life. Of course I can see many differences in mediterenean countries, interesting details, but about these we might talk face to face one day :)
Yesterday I watched Night train to Lisbon and I loved it.
So very true! We sometimes imagine differences just because we didn't have a chance to know each other... One day I will go to Greece too, it's been a dream of many years. Love to you Lemon!
