Americans

have yet to come up with a Kartal-like heroe, or maybe not. concepts of manhood, such an interesting subject, are a world apart. (in Turkey, people believe in true love for life. if it's true, it's for life. not so much here. what do we want? not love for life).
such a great school wall: “Nothing is as surprising as life. Except for writing. Except for writing. Yes, of course, except for writing, the only consolation.” ― Orhan Pamuk, The Black Book. 'Hiçbir şey hayat kadar şaşırtıcı olamaz! Yazı hariç.'  e uma citação d'O meu pé de laranja lima de José Mauro de Vasconcelos. and here we are, living, writing.
