bem arrumadinho como se quer nos academic novels, dos quais temos a Inveja de Mário Avelar, que não li porque desconfio que tudo o resto que ele já escreveu na vida seja melhor.
a minha tiny review no goodreads; "An easy read, a story well told in an almost light way despite it being so dark. The life story of an anonymous man that didn't quite raise to the ranks of Everyman. The literary pages are a sweet treat to literature students and lovers."
