A Caverna
A beautiful allegory stemming from Plato's Cave where the modern capitalist world is likened to a prison. If this idea is not uncommon in literature, often associated with end-of-the-world or doom sci-Fi narratives, Saramago offers his humanistic, optimist way: revolution is possible. A man and a woman, naked and free, all is possible. -my goodreads tiny note.
