English curriculum

"Our first novel study will be A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.  We will have two literature circles that cover all sorts of exciting books.  Our second novel study will be Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred Taylor.  We will look at media and produce a classroom newspaper that incorporates our Social Studies.  Later in the year we will do a unit called Equality, which will look at racism around the globe and cover human rights." not so sure about the second one though, it's more of an internal affair, but hey there's Dickents. pity it is not David Copperfield. :D
