just recently I was thinking that a culture might be defined by woman-man dialogues: how do they work, what words are uttered, um caminho a seguir, sem dúvida. dostluk sözleri? ["já não aguento o homem em casa"] dostluk mümkün mü? yes. equally humans, people who go about their ways differently. not easy to imagine a world of unequal women and yet... there's violence against women everywhere, all the time, always.
"Violence against women and girls is a problem of pandemic proportions. At least one out of every three women around the world has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in her lifetime with the abuser usually someone known to her."
I am strongly for women's rights. (my own person. independent. capable. living my own life freely, it's all about freedom). this sad history needs to be read often and re-read. I am your equal, whoever you are. and yet, arkadaş olabiliriz.
